Minerva Bunker Gear Cleaners to Help Haiti Rescue Efforts
Minerva Bunker Gear Cleaners announced today that it will assist the ongoing rescue effort in Haiti by offering a FREE Advanced Cleaning and Advanced Inspection of the USAR (Urban Search and Rescue) gear used by all of the firefighters and EMS personnel who volunteered their services to help the citizens of Haiti recover from the devastation wrought by the recent earthquake in that country.
In making the announcement, Joseph Xiras, President of Minerva Bunker Gear Cleaners, said, " We felt compelled, as supporters of firefighters and EMS personnel, that we wanted to do our part to try to help during this time of extreme need in Haiti. We consider it an honor and a privilege to offer our services."

CLEANING PROCEDURE
All gear goes through our exclusive 3 point inspection process to assure that your gear comes back to you in "as new" condition.
- Complete this form and email it to us.
- Ship your gear to our facility. Once received it is checked in and inspected for heavy soil and stains.
- Heavily soiled or stained gear is pre-soaked and pre-scrubbed before cleaning.
- Gear is then washed using only manufacturer approved de-stainers and detergents.
- Afterwards, gear is hung to dry in our pre heated certified dry room.
- All gear is then inspected for rips, tears, open seams, missing hardware, and other repairs criteria.
- All information is entered into our Advanced Protective Tracking (APT) system, designed by Morning Pride by Honeywell for tracking Bunker Gear and EMS Gear.
- A repair estimate is faxed or e-mailed to your department for approval before any repairs are made.
- Once we receive an approval, your gear is repaired, packaged, and shipped within 3 days.
